Connor McDavid

McDavid, who plays centre for the Edmonton Oilers® is widely considered to be one of the finest hockey players in the world. One of the NHL’s® leading scorers, top offensive talents, and the current captain of the Edmonton Oilers®, he is known for being the fastest player in the league, being precise in his playing style, and has one of the league’s highest passing success rates. McDavid loves working with young hockey players and is keen to work with them to pass off all the knowledge he can.

John Tavares

A veteran of the NHL®, John Tavares played for the New York Islanders® for nine years and served as captain for five. Currently the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs®, Tavares is known for his leadership, agility and his ability to anticipate the play. He is excited to contribute to Team Rogers and pass his exceptional leadership skills to legions of young players.

Bo Horvat

Horvat is a hard-changing centre and team captain of the Vancouver Canucks®. A former first-round draft pick and now the current captain of the Vancouver Canucks®, he plays a strong physical game, displaying incredible defensive skills. Horvat is excited for young players to benefit from his experience.

Darnell Nurse

Entering his 7th season with the Edmonton Oilers®, Darnell Nurse has quickly become a household name and a vaunted defenseman for the Oilers®. He was drafted 7th overall in 2013, and it didn’t take him long to make his presence felt. He plays tough, skilled, and is a natural leader and alternate captain with the Oilers®. He is proud to be a part of Team Rogers and is looking forward to welcoming the future stars of hockey.

Alexis Lafrenière

Alexis Lafrenière was selected first overall by the New York Rangers in the 2020 NHL® Entry Draft. He was the first Rimouski player to be ranked No. 1 on Central Scouting’s final North American skater list since Sidney Crosby in 2005 and the first Quebec-born skater to be taken with the first pick since the Tampa Bay Lightning® selected Vincent Lecavalier in the 1998 NHL® Draft.

Mark Scheifele

Mark Scheifele was drafted 7th overall in the 2011 NHL® Entry Level Draft, becoming the Jets® first ever draft pick since the team relocated from Atlanta. Scheifele made his NHL® debut in 2011 and scored his first NHL® goal in his fifth NHL® game. Scheifele is often described as a hard-working, 2-way, play-making center. He is currently an alternate captain for the Jets® and looking forward to welcoming his new Team Rogers teammates.
